This song grabbed my curiosity the first time I heard it. How I interpret this song is that in a bad world, we could be doing more to make it better, with just a little help from above. Then, there’s the chorus, where there is this belief spoken of that even though we’re in bad times, there is more love than hate in the world, and we are stuck in this world together, so we might as well work at making it better. 

The lead singer of RJA, Ronnie, claims to be a Christian. I’m not sure whether or not, though, this song is really a very Christian perspective or not. Is there really more love than hate in this world? The world seems to do a lot of hateful things. After all, Christ said the world will hate us as Christians, as they hated Him (John 15:18). With only a “little help from above,” this world will never change for the better. God is the only one who can change this world, and let’s only hope He does something soon.
